There are thousand of supplements available in the market, how do you find the best Omega 3 supplements when you need it? You will read here what you should keep in mind while purchasing fatty acid supplements.

Fish oils are really the richest source of omega 3 fatty acids. It is said by Doctors and other researchers that it can improve your physical and mental health.

However not all fish oils are same when it comes to purity and quality. Some manufacturers produce low grade products that are not as beneficial as they are normally. You should aware with such low quality products.

Its not rare, we all know, how much an ocean water are polluted, it causes, fish often have unhealthy eating, so fish (white meat) are considered unsafe sometime. Actually oils are produced from the tissues of cold – water fatty fish. That is why, they are bound to contain more toxins such metals, mercury etc found in ocean waters.

While purchasing DHA or EPA supplements, make sure to check whether they are molecularly-distilled. Molecularly distillation refining process helps in the purity of these fish oil in the removal of toxins and impurities. It makes the fish oil more pure and safe.

Read with confidence the label and see if it mentions the name of the species used. This is very vital to check because some of manufacturer mentions misguiding name such as “marine lipids” or “mixed species” etc.

Never buy such products because these supplements may be have been extracted from multiple sources and not necessarily clod-water fatty fish that are rich in DHA and EPA fates.

You should buy supplements which are pure and contain high percentage of DHA and EPA fatty acids. Many supplements contain 150 to 180mg of Docosahexaenoic acid and 140mg of Eicosapentaenoic acid per gram.

It doesn’t have worth of using such low quality of fish capsules or powders. You should use some of great quality products that really effect positively on your health.

If you consume pure omega 3 supplements, sure it will be kept you brain, skin and heart healthy. Hence make sure to choose always pharmaceutical grade, molecularly distilled Fish oils.

I often wonder why supplements do not use Omega 3 from non-fish sources in order to make them more healthy. I realise that fish is the best source but the body is capable of changing the structure of the Omega 3 molecules and perhaps it woudl be good if some research was done into this.
